Insurance Groups for Cadillac Cars
America’s once luxury car icon, Cadillac has been hit badly by the economic downturn, failing to get a foothold in the European market – not helped by a flagging reputation due to poor finish and the use of cheap materials. As a result, a decision was made by General Motors to pull out of much of the European market in 2009 due to poor sales.
Cadillac’s range of luxury cars are still for sale in the UK through a small number of dealers. The Cadillac CTS is a luxury saloon which attempts to compete with the BMW 3 and 5 Series saloon, but sadly lacks the BMW’s refinement and is costly to run – with no diesel available to ease the pain. The Cadillac CTS insurance group of 37-44 means expensive insurance too.
A large SUV, the Cadillac SRX is not really suited to UK motoring because of hugely high running costs and poor handling. The Cadillac SRX's Group 43-47 insurance group will further burn a hole in your pocket.
Again with no diesel option, the Cadillac STS is a lavishly equipped luxury saloon, somewhat let down by a disappointing interior finished with cheap plastics. Insurance groups for this and other Cadillac cars are provided in the table below.
